Topcon GTS-255 (5″)

The Topcon GTS-255 Total Station is a compact and durable optical instrument for recording precise distance and angle measurements with 5-second accuracy.  As part of Topcon’s new GTS200 series, this Topcon GTS-255 total station is ideal for land surveying and construction stake-out and works with a variety of prisms and data collectors for long-range distance measurements.

Accurate and Reliable

Along with 5-second accuracy, the Topcon GTS-255 has 30x magnification allowing surveyors to read slope and horizontal distances up to 7,500 feet with a single prism and take angle measurements to as little as 0.3 second.

This field surveying instrument features an enhanced absolute encoder that can recall its last position as soon as the power is turned on. Topcon GTS-255 also has a tilt sensor and dual-axis compensator for perfect leveling and an optical plummet to precisely mark the total station’s location.

Survey Software and Memory

With onboard software built-in, measuring points for calculating or processing is fast and easy. And with 24,000 points of internal memory, the Topcon GTS-255 total station can store large amounts of field data, which can then be transferred using a standard Topcon 9-pin cable to your PC or data collector.

Functionality and Features

This Topcon GTS-255 total station comes standard with a dual display and alphanumeric keyboard for fast data entry. The IP-54 environmental rating protects it against dust and water splashes, while the rechargeable Ni-MH battery provides up to 9 hours of continuous distance and angle measuring, or up to 40 hours measuring angles only!

Compatible with Topcon Data Collectors

For more advanced layout tasks, the Topcon GTS-255 can be used with any of Topcon’s field controllers capable of running MAGNET Field software, such as the Topcon Tesla, FC-2600, FC-250, FC-236 and FC-25.
