Vixen has been making Refractor Telescopes for over 60 years. Light is collected through the objective lens to provide a consistently stable field of view. Discover the redesigned NA140SSf triplet Telescope with Japanese glass optics or the AX103, quad design Telescope, for sharp images to the edges of the field of view. VIXEN AX103S Refractor Telescope Quad Element Design

Vixen’ s AX103S f/8.0 Refractor Telescope features a three element objective lens, incorporating

a central SD lens. The fourth lens is inside the focuser drawtube. The Apo Maximum lens elements

are machined with great precision to exhbit superb optical performance. This advanced design

productes crystal clear, sharp, high contrast images. In combination with the rear Field Corrector Lens

, the AX103 Refractor Telescope yields sharp high contrast images with no trace of false color.

“Precision Multi-Coating” applied to the lenses, enhances visible light and assures extremely high light

transmission. Residual chromatic aberrations are eliminated. Astronomy Magazine states “Its superb optics

allow high magnification views”. The built in Dual Speed Focuser enables coarse and fine focus adjustments.

Sky at Night Magazine states: “With its excellent build quality and rich feature set, we thoroughly recommend

this system if you’re looking to upgrade from your current setup”.. Manufactured in Japan and covered

The chromatic aberration on the visible spectrum and spot diagrams provide exceptional color correction and crisp sharp images. Star images are less than 20 microns on the edge of the imaging field. Vixen’s “Precision Multi-Coating” is applied to every lens surface and assures extremely high light transmission.
